Esther Friedman is bringing her solo show "Random Sharp Objects: The Story of How I Got the Past out of My Ass" to New York from Los Angeles for an exclusive 8 week engagement. Esther Friedman's one woman show gives new insight into what it really means to grow up bi-racial in America. Her parents, a laconic Jewish Dad, and a wise cracking African American mother are stars in this dramedy in which Esther determines the answer to why she won't date black men.

Esther Friedman has accomplished a lovely thing: Through her writing and performance she makes the universal specific. She takes us on a journey of transformation. She makes us laugh and cry with the details of her life
