MOUNTAIN JEWS is a tragicomedy based on the stories of American citizens who live in the most violence-prone settlements in areas currently under Israeli control. Isaac, a young Orthodox Jew from Brooklyn with no sexual experience, schleps his bride to a dark and sacred mountain in Israel in or der to consummate their marriage directly below Paradise. As the clock of night keeps on ticking, Isaac hallucinates that his bride is none other than the mysterious Divine Presence, an entity known in his circles as "the feminine emanation of God." He looks at the beautiful woman with desiring eyes, but his heart fills with fear that "this God" would strike him dead. How will this night end?
