Wicked is quite possibly one of the greatest Broadway shows of this generation. I have seen the show I believe three times, and it never ceases to amaze me. I think there is hardly anyone that doesn't know the story of the Wizard of Oz, only "Wicked" tells the story behind the story, from a completely different point of view of the Bad witch, only it turns out she isn't bad at all! and the show is very magical, with the characters flying on stage and other greta effects. "Wicked" was so much fun! I really looked differently at the Wicked Witch and I also looked differently at the Good Witch. It was a fun point of view!

I went to see this show as the only one of a group not to have seen this show at least 4 times, so before the curtain rose i had high expectations, unfortunately i don’t think these where ever met.

Amazing storyline, music was outstanding and answered some questions. Found the end a bit strange as it tried to change Wizard of Oz but well worth going to see.

wow! i loved this musical to bits!
I love the music, humour, cast, costumes and everything about it! The storyline was super and the cast were AMAIZING!
I hope to see it again soon and I'd definitely recomend it (if you like musicals that is!)

After reading WICKED the novel, I knew that this was a musical I had to see. I was not disappointed! The story was unique, imaginative and surprisingly sentimental, without being beyond the understanding of the audience. There were clever parallels between events in the witches' Oz and our own world - corrupt government, social stereotypes and racial segregation.

I agree completely with the last review from Steve.
I went to see the show a few days ago and after the first 10 minutes I could quite happily have left.
Myself and my friends found it boring boring boring. Dreadful, unforgettable songs and poor story. Quite frankly,we couldn't wait for it to end.Thank goodness we had discounted tickets. I guess I saw a different show to everyone else; the score and lyrics are pretty dire. The dark, interesting tone of the story has been downplayed to a sappy ode to friendship with sub-Disney ballads every 5 minutes.
