Birmingham Royal Ballet: Duel Programme

About Birmingham Royal Ballet: Duel Programme:

Birmingham Royal Ballet: Duel Programme plays at Sadler's Wells
Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4TN

Led by the company's artistic director David Bintley, Birmingham Royal Ballet makes a welcome return to Sadler's Wells with two compelling programmes.
Beauty and The Beast (Oct 28th - 30th) tells the classic tale of a beautiful girl and her beastly captor, and their discovery of the meaning of true love. This fairytale of passion and prejudice is choreographed by David Bintley, who weaves some delightful new twists into this timeless fable.
Stravinsky: A Celebration! (Oct 31st - 1st Nov) pays homage to the great composer Igor Stravinsky. Based on Russian legend, the enthralling Firebird is performed alongside Petrushka, a story of a rebellious puppet's bid for love and freedom, and Michael Corder's brand new version of Le Baiser de la fee, based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Ice Maiden.
